Meet the President

Crime Survivors Inc. would like to introduce our newly appointed President, Cameron Knauerhaze. Prior to his appointment, Cameron served on the CSI Board of Directors. He lives in Lake Forest with his wife and their baby boy.

Some of you may recognize Cameron as he is no stranger to our community. He works for West Orange County where he is assigned to the Operations Division of a municipal police department. He serves as a Patrol Corporal and Public Information Officer. He has served the community for nearly 14 years as a Patrol Officer, Detective, Community Policing Team member, and trainer.
He has a Masters Degree in Communication from Gonzaga University, a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Studies/Emergency Management from California State Long Beach, and a Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management from University of California, Irvine.
He has a true heart for crime victims and a passion for public service. This year, he hopes to lend his experience to CSI by enriching our current programs and opening a wider communication channel to our partners in the community. He describes his leadership style as participative, with an emphasis on accountability and service. He says, “In my experience, serving others comes full circle. It makes me humble and it breaks down the common barriers between humans that keep us from our common needs and goals.”
Every other month, Cameron will be writing in this blog about topics related to crime and the community.
If you see Cameron, please welcome him to his new position. He is excited to work with you and to carry on the mission of Crime Survivors Inc.
