Meet CSI Chairperson, Janet Wilson-Irving

I want to introduce a friend and the Chairperson for CSI, Janet Wilson-Irving. Janet’s biography is nothing but a glimpse of what a true leader and overall great teammate she is at CSI. Janet is caring, hardworking, and level headed. She brings her experience as a business professional and mother to the board room at CSI. Most of all, Janet cares about people. Her humility, character, and enthusiasm are just a couple of her most noteworthy traits. Here is a bit more about Janet…

Janet began her career in the Amusements Industry over 20 years ago starting as a Sales Coordinator in 1992 at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. She worked her way up to Sales Representative for the Orange County Region and was responsible for booking and overseeing thousands of Company Picnics, Private Parties, Consignment accounts and Special Events.

In 1999, Palace Entertainment approached her for a new and challenging opportunity as a Regional Sales Director for the Southern California Family Entertainment Centers; she says it was hard to pass up and almost 13 years later she still enjoys working in the Entertainment Industry.

At Palace Entertainment, she has also upheld several positions including Sales Training for the FEC’s and Water Park Divisions, Marketing & Sales Director for the FEC Division and currently resides as the National Director of Sales overseeing 40 locations throughout the United States. One of her greatest passions is helping people by encouraging and mentoring them and ensuring that a positive attitude is the key to a successful well being.

Janet serves on the Board of Directors for Crime Survivors Inc. and has been involved with the organization from its beginning stages. Her continued passion, belief and hope, is to help victims learn how to become survivors by providing them with the proper resources and guidance.

Janet is also a proud Mom of a 22 year old Daughter & a 6 year old son. She also met her husband while working in the industry and says he is “her greatest supporter.”
