Meet Cory Chalmers CSI Council Member

Cory Chalmers, is a full time captain on the Garden Grove Fire Department where he has worked since 1996. Mr. Chalmers also owns Crime Scene Steri-Clean, LLC a crime and trauma scene decontamination company which he started in 1995. Through both of his careers Mr. Chalmers has scene hundreds of crime scenes and is very passionate about helping crime victims in any way possible. In fact, his company received the CPS Community Service Award by the California Victims Assistance Program, with recognition from the California State Senate and United States Congress for assisting crime victims in their time of need.

You may also recognize Mr. Chalmers from the A&E hit series “Hoarders” where he appears as a regular featured guest to clean up some of the most difficult hoarding cases ever seen. Mr. Chalmers company is also working on their own television series that should be on air next season. He also runs several websites to assist crime victims as well as hoarders.

Mr. Chalmers lives in Orange, Ca with his 2 teenage daughters Melanie and Meghan who both are attending college. His son, Christian is an active Marine out of Camp Pendleton, Ca. He attends many volunteer functions and is on several committees.  In his small amount of free time, he enjoys camping, fishing and hiking.
