Holiday Candle Lighting Celebration scheduled for Sunday November 30, 2008, 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. honoring the 25th Anniversary of the murder of Marsalee Ann Nicholas and homicide victims everywhere. The event will be held at the Homicide Victims Memorial housed at Rose Hills Memorial Park and Cemetery, 3838 Workman Mill Rd. (Just inside Gate 19 off Workman Mill, Rd), Whittier, Ca.
The Charles Dickens Carolers will be strolling and singing holiday songs, a dove release is scheduled and survival techniques will be provided to victim families to assist them during these very difficult times of the year.
A reading of homicide victims’ names and a candle lighting ceremony in their memory will highlight the early evening festivities. A service of cupcakes and coffee will conclude the evening.
Homicide victim survivors everywhere are invited to attend and participate. Just check in at the Sign In table to ensure your loved-ones name is included in the reading.
