LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND VICTIM SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL BE RECOGNIZED AT THE 13TH ANNUAL CRIME SURVIVORS “GRATITUDE LUNCHEON”
HOPEFUL HEALING FOR SURVIVORS AWARDS BANQUET
— Special awards recipients for the above and beyond recognition include ones from San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, San Bernardino County Police Department, Garden Grove Police Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Bureau of Victim Services and the victim advocacy lifetime achievement award will be presented to Irvine Police Department, Chief Mike Hamel.–
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (JULY 2015) – Crime Survivors announced today their plans for the 2016 Crime Survivors Gratitude Luncheon, “Hopeful Healing for Survivors Awards Banquet.” Scheduled for Tuesday, June 7, the event serves as a luncheon and a chance to honor those who have went above and beyond and are united together to help victims of crime. The event will be held from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm at The Anaheim White House, a restaurant located at 887 South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, CA 92805.
“We wanted to take a moment to thank these particular agencies and individuals for their participation and support,” said Patricia Wenskunas, Crime Survivors Founder and CEO. “We hope that our recognition goes a long way in showing others that their efforts are noticed and greatly appreciated.”
Crime Survivors has teamed-up with other organizations throughout Southern California to honor individuals for their efforts. Their hard work has provided a service to victims that goes beyond their normal call of duty and demonstrates their compassion for human-beings in need of care and guidance. Such recipients include Irvine Police Department, Garden Grove Police Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, San Bernardino Police Department, and many other members of various law enforcement, public agencies, private entities and individuals around the Southern California area.
